SARASOTA, FL(February 1, 2021) — The EDC of Sarasota County has resumed search activity for President/CEO position after putting this project on hold last spring due to the pandemic and subsequent shutdown.

The EDC board has appointed a transition/search team composed of members of the EDC board of directors and Dave Bullock, and have contracted with Jorgenson Consulting to lead the search.
Jorgenson Consulting is a national firm that specializes in non-profit executive recruiting designed to serve organizations within the non-profit, economic and community development sectors. Jorgenson Consulting was selected through an RFP and extensive interview process last year. They will be developing the position profile which will be released for applicants in March 2021.
