Beautiful weather and white sand beaches, Sarasota County is a magical place for those who love to feel the sunshine on their faces.
Called the Suncoast for a Reason
Florida’s West Coast is perfect for life outdoors. Yes, the summers are warm, but our beaches are beautiful and our winter months are picturesque. With an average 255 days of sunshine a year, you’ll find that your lifestyle spills effortlessly into outdoor spaces, all year long.
Weather
It doesn’t get cold here in Sarasota. 72˚F is the average temperature in this part of the country. Perfect for a day out on the boat, the trails or the golf course. And if it ever rains, it’s never for more than an hour or two.
Beaches
Sarasota County is home to award-winning white sand beaches. With six islands lining its extensive coastline, each with its own personality, you can find plenty of recreational options for you and the family.
Siesta Beach is rated the #1 beach in the US for its brilliantly white, sugar-fine crystal sand consisting of 99% pure quartz.
In addition, enjoy the sun and sand on Sarasota’s many other beach destinations including Longboat Key, Lido Key, Manasota Key, Casey Key, and Venice beaches. Check out Visit Sarasota County’s Sarasota Area Beaches Guide.
